Civic Center, Mission, and Chinatown D800 and the Tamron 35-150mm
I’ve continued the process of taking photos on early weekend mornings to avoid the traffic, crowds, and take advantage of premium natural light. The fog and the overcast sky were out this morning as I drove around the city looking for opportunities to shoot without anyone around. I stopped by the Mission, Embarcadero, and LittleContinue reading “The City – D800 and Tamron 35-150mm”
Shots of San Francisco in the rain.
I sold all of my recently purchased gear and went back to the old Nikon D800. As a hobbyist, it fits my needs better and i was able to recoup some of the premium costs of owning Sony glass. Took some early morning photos of San Francisco’s fog and street art. The smoke from nearby fires is still flowing into the bay area, which made the area extra hazy. I met a street artist drawing on some used boxes and spent most of my time in Embarcadero. All photos taken with the SonyContinue reading “Fog and Street Art”
Took some shots around San Francisco’s Chinatown on a Sunday morning in September. Mostly shot with the Sony Ar7ii and the Samyang 35mm 1.4 and the Sigma 50mm 1.4.
Spent another morning shooting Mission district and Civic Center. All shots taken with the Sigma Art 50mm F.14 and the Sony A7RII.
Some shots from this morning from China Town, and Mission St. Empty streets, great light, no issues.
I lived in SF for about 5 years and Mission was by far my favorite place to go, primarily the 23-25th and Mission area. I haven’t been here in a long time and thought I’d bring the camera back in the very early morning to take some shots. Here are some night and morning shotsContinue reading “Back to the homeland, Mission Street, SF”
